Burglary suspect caught in waist deep snow; two behind bars

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Police chased a burglary suspect for several blocks in waste deep snow, and now a man and a woman are behind bars for allegedly breaking into a Duluth home.

The two suspects, a 55-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both of Duluth, reportedly broke into a home on the 4100 block of west 8th street.

When police arrived on the scene, the man led police on a chase and crashed his Jeep on Berkley Road.

Authorities were able to arrest the man after chasing him in waist deep snow for four blocks.

The woman was found inside the home.

Both suspects are in Saint Louis County Jail.

The man faces Aiding & Abetting 2nd Degree Burglary charges among others.

The woman faces 2nd Degree Burglary charges.

The case remains under investigation.
