Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Saturday was a real dog day in Duluth.

In fact, it was the perfect day for a Canine Carnival in Duluth's Fitger's Brewery.

Now in its second year, the event offers pooches and dog lovers alike a chance to walk side by side in the historic brewery's halls, and learn more about their dog related services.

The carnival also featured fitness trainers, vet services, and grooming.

"It's getting their name out to people who probably have no idea that they even exist," said Jamie Parent, co-owner of A Place for Fido, "and then for the public it's just a great opportunity to learn who is available."

One highlight from this year's furry festivities: the Cutest Couple Photo Contest.
