(NNCNOW.com)-- The United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit has denied the city of Duluth's appeal to rehear a January case concerning revenue from the Fond du Luth casino.
City attorney's wanted the full panel of Appeal Court judges to hear the case, but according to Duluth City Attorney Gunner Johnson, it was unlikely the case would have been revived.
On January 14th, the Appeals Court handed down a decision, stating the Fond du Lac Band does not need to share casino profits with the city of Duluth.
