Longville, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - According to Cass Co. Sheriff Tom Burch, deputies found a stabbing victim who was transported to the Crosby Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
A 23-year-old suspect was located a short time later in the Longville area, and was taken into custody by Cass County Deputies in connection with the stabbing.
The suspect is currently being held in the Cass County Jail pending formal charges. The incident remains under investigation with an autopsy pending.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
