(SOLON SPRING,MN)---Staying in touch with his roots is on the mind of one Northlander who is bringing the spotlight to Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

Yes, The Solon Springs High School is hosting a musical event titled Live Life, Love Life featuring several familiar television faces.

Actor Mitch Blaylock, who is originally from Solon Springs, asked a few of his friends to raise money for the communities volunteer fire department.

His friends include popular actors James Denton, from the Desperate Housewives and Scott Grimes from ER, as well as Bob Guiney from the Bachelor.

"They give. They give their time, they give their celebrity, they give their personalities and they didn't hesitate when I asked. I asked them, hey, I'm doing this event for my small town in Wisconsin would you come on board," Mitch Blaylock, an actor, said.

Each of the personalities are musicians when not on camera.

Local band Ultra Day will be kicking the event off and 40 high school choir members will be joining the celebrities during their performance.
