St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A group of seventh and eighth graders from the Cherry School spent the day with lawmakers in St. Paul.
The group had the chance to meet Governor Mark Dayton and several other legislators including Senator Tom Bakk.
Several of the students tweeted about their trip saying they got to shake hands with the Governor.
The field trip also gave the students a chance to explore the historic Capitol building.
