Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Chester Bowl Ski Hill is expecting hundreds of gnar enthusiasts on Saturday for its sixth annual winter carnival...and to kick it off, ski officials need some help.
Winter carnival volunteers are needed to help run the games and ski hill races...managers are also searching for bib takers and a race board writer.
For each of the challenges there are prizes...those include...drum roll please...candy.
Thom Storm, a Chester Bowl Ski Hill Manager says the games are family friendly and people of all ages are welcome.
"This new snow has been fantastic. We've got great skiing conditions. If you look back a year ago, we had so little snow in the winter of 2012, so this February has been great. We've go a lot of snow out of the sky and it has really helped us out," Thom Storm, Chester Bowl manager, said.
The event runs from one to four o'clock in the afternoon and the admission is five dollars for a lift ticket.
