Chisholm, MN (NNCNOW.COM) --- A Chisholm man was injured Saturday night after his snowmobile crashed into a house.

The St Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash just after 9 p.m. at a house on Lake Long, north of Chisholm.

The driver, 30-year-old David Nienas, drove onto the private property after crossing Long Lake and struck the deck and chimney of the house.

Nienas was transported to Fairview University Medical Center in Hibbing with non-life threatening injuries.

The St Louis County Sheriff's Department believes that alcohol was a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
