Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.COM) --- A Duluth technology company is celebrating a 1.5 million dollar expansion to its downtown offices.

Citon Computer Corporations recently expanded their already existing building on west 1st street to a state-of-the-art 19 thousand square foot facility.

The facility features an advanced virtual private hosting center with connection to multiple overhead and underground fiber optic pathways.

The company offers network design services, hardware and software sales, and cloud computing and hosting.

Citon's focus is on assisting businesses as they transition into the technological age.

"Technology obviously is not going anywhere. Everyday it just becomes that much bigger a part of life and how businesses do their business. So it's important for us to find more creative and more powerful ways to kind of engage with our customers," said Jon Heyesen, Citon's Director of Business Development.

With the expansion, the company could soon be adding people to their workforce.

Citon also owns more building space along West 1st street that could be used to possibly expand further in the future.
