Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit showed off their new office space on Thursday.
The unit recently moved into the Duluth Federal Building from their old location at the Army Corps of Engineer building on Park Point.
The section has been recently renovated for the Coast Guard and has given them more space to conduct trainings.
"The old building we were a little cramped for space and this office here we have a much better layout, quite a few more rooms for planning, conference rooms, training rooms, um it's just a better layout overall," said Commander Alan Moore.
Commander Moore says it will take them about a year to get fully settled into their new space.
