Company closes but still owes IRRRB $250,000

Eveleth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Meyer Teleservices, a telemarketing company, has shut down on the Iron Range, taking with it 104 jobs.

The Eveleth company, which is headquartered in St. Cloud, owes a quarter million dollars to the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) from loans the agency made to the company.

The two loans the IRRRB provided totaled $625,000. Meyer Teleservices still owes $250,000 at this time. The company has also shut down its St. Cloud and Little Falls locations.
