Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The 425 Project Partners, AtWater Group, Maurices, and the City of Duluth have selected a construction manager for the new proposed 15-story building and parking ramp on West Superior Street.

McGough has built towers and ramps similar in size and scope to the 425 Project, including buildings for Traveler's and Securian in St. Paul and ING in Minneapolis. They have also worked on several projects in the Duluth area.

It's most recent local project was a 40,000 square foot expansion of the Science Center at the College of St. Scholastic was completed in May 2012.

Maurice's has also chosen two firms to design the company's interior space in the 425 Project.

Interior design firm HGA, headquartered in Minneapolis, will be the lead firm, in partnership with DSGW Architects, headquartered in Duluth.

Maurice's is investing nearly $30 million to the 425 Project, and the city of Duluth is matching an $8.5 million grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development to help pay for the infrastructure work and construction of the parking ramp.

The project is expected to be complete in 2015.
