Cook, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- A 37-year-old Cook man was arrested for an assault Thursday morning that led to a brief lock-down of the Cook Hospital.
The St Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident in the Homestead Apartment complex around 8:30 where a female had allegedly been assaulted by the male in the complex office.
The victim was allegedly held against her will while inside the office, threatened and robbed of some of her personal belongings.
The suspect fled on foot before officers arrived. Because of the close proximity to the building, the Cook Hospital was put on lock-down until the suspect was located and taken into custody.
The suspect was eventually located and is currently being held at the St Louis County Jail .
