Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - It was a night of music, fun and even a few cow bells thrown in, all for the Northern Lights Foundation's wildly popular "More Cow Bell Event."
A take on the classic Saturday Night Live skit, crowds filled Grandma's Sports Garden in Duluth for the annual event that raises money for Northland kids with life-threatening illnesses.
From a throwback to the 70's troupe to our very own Northland News Crew," entertainment no doubt filled the room.
Organizers of this year's event say it takes guts to put on a good show.
"You've got to be a little crazy to do it, you've got to put yourself out there and everybody does, it's fun and they bring a lot of people and we are happier than heck for how well this has gone and for all the help and support for the community," said Scott Lyons, board member Northern Lights Foundation.
Northland's News Center's own Michelle Lee, Alison Wade and Billy Wagness made up Thursday's news team.
Despite their hard work and enthusiasm they did not grab the win.
But they say they had a blast being a part of the event.
