Hibbing, MN (NNCNOW.COM) --- Alexandra "Sasha" McHale, the daughter of Houston Rockets Coach and Hibbing native Kevin McHale died Saturday at 23-years-old.
Sasha McHale was a UMD student that attended the liberal arts college, and majored in Communications.
She dealt with the disease Lupus, which contributed to her death.
Sasha's father, Kevin McHale is also a former Timberwolves coach.
He is on personal leave from his current coaching position.
McHale's professors at UMD say she was a bright, cheerful young lady, who worked hard and always had a big smile.
