Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Demolition of Duluth's old airport terminal has begun.
The tear-down is expected to take as long as six to eight weeks.
Officials hope to wrap up before the spring construction season begins.
"This represents the start of the final phase of our project which started with the building of our brand new airport terminal," said Tom Werner, executive director of the airport authority.
The old terminal welcomed its last scheduled flight at the beginning of this year.
