Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - It's all part of the 7th annual storefront window display and lighting contest presented by the Greater Downtown Council.

Now that the curtains are down, shoppers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite display, which will be decided in the coming weeks.

While a major aim is to attract business to the downtown area during the holiday season, according to officials, you don't need a reason to get festive.

"Everybody loves it. It gets them into the holiday spirit. They can window shop, and it's just a real festive atmosphere," said Darlene Marshall, Special Events Coordinator for the Greater Downtown Council.

Shoppers can cast their vote for their favorite display at participating businesses.
