St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Measures that restrict drone usage in Minnesota won't be taking off, at least during this legislative session.

Key lawmakers tell Minnesota Public Radio a comprehensive privacy package has stalled at the Capitol.

The bills focus specifically on curbing drone usage by police - requiring them to have a search warrant to watch private citizens.

Lawmakers say they expect more debate next session.

13 states passed laws relating to unmanned aircraft in 2013.
