Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- As organizers of Duluth's first ever Hot Air Balloon Festival put the final touches on this weekend's event, they are also searching for dozens of volunteers to help out in the booths.

"We are short volunteers and in order to make the event run smoothly and cover the necessary jobs, we still need about 50 volunteers to help work some of the booths," says event founder Ryan Kern of Kernz & Kompany. "My hope is that we could get individuals, groups, or civic organizations to answer the call today and help."

Volunteers are needed at Bayfront Park in Duluth during the following days:
- Friday, September 20th from 2pm-9pm
- Saturday, September 21st from 8am-6pm
- Sunday, September 22nd from 8am-3pm

If you are a member of a civic or non-profit group and your organization is willing to help as a group, the festival will provide a revenue source and make a donation to those organizations for helping. Individual volunteers will get fed and be assigned with other volunteers.

If you are interested in helping out during the Hot Air Balloon Festival, you can call 218-722-7488.
