Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- A Duluth man has been arrested and charged following an alleged armed robbery in a Duluth parking ramp.
27-year-old, Mark James Laquier has been arrested for allegedly robbing an employee at knife point and leaving with an unknown amount of cash.
On Friday, October 5, Duluth Police responded to the Miller Dwan Parking ramp booth at 4th Avenue East and 1st Street on the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation led Duluth Investigators to Laquier.
On Friday, October 12, an officer located Laquier at 1st Avenue West and 1st Street and was taken into custody.
Laquier was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail and has been charged with 1st Degree Aggravated Robbery.
Laquier has an extensive criminal record including; reckless discharge of a firearm in 2003, a felony theft charge in 2005, Escape from Custody - held Pursuant to Lawful Arrest while on charge or conviction in 2008.
