Duluth, MN (Northland’s NewsCenter) – A Duluth man has been arrested for vehicle prowls and damage to property.
24-year-old, Eric Lund, has been arrested after Police reported to a call in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Authorities say when they were there, a citizen came up to them and reported that a car alarm was going off in the area of 21st Avenue West and First Street.
Officers checked the area with the help of a K-9 unit and located Lund nearby.
Authorities say that six vehicles parked in a lot at 21st Avenue West and First Street had their windows broken out. Officers say they recovered a bolt cutter and stolen property in Lund’s possession.
Lund has prior convictions including two felony counts of theft of a motor vehicle in 2008 and 2010.
Lund is pending formal charges for 1st Degree Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of Burglary Tools, Motor Vehicle Tampering and a Saint Louis County Warrant.
