Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Cell phone and computer technology is combining to make a bold and visual statement in the next hi-tech step.
The Google Glass prototype has landed in Duluth. Marketing agency Westmoreland Flint is the lone location in Duluth to test the product.
Google Glass can search the web, send text messages, record high quality video and pictures all with a touch of a button or the movement of the head.
Product testers believe with a few tweaks, the technology could eventually catch on in a big way.
"From a convenience factor, it's a lot more convenient then wearing a cell phone so if they get it to a point where it doesn't look quite like this then it becomes more mainstream and I think you'll see a lot more adoption."
Google Glass is only in its prototype stage right now; thousands of companies are still working out the kinks and helping to find ways to market the device to the public.
