Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A program, said to be one of the most intensive theatre programs in the area for teens, is opening this week at the Duluth Playhouse.

The Playhouse Performance Intensives was started by Kate Horvath, education director at the Duluth Playhouse.

Horvath says the program intensives are designed to offer more advanced challenging experiences for young performing artists in our region.

This year the teens will be performing 'Thoroughly Modern Millie,' and 'Hamlet.'

Modern Millie is a high-spirited musical that has all of New York dancing the Charleston.

Hamlet is a Shakespeare play where 'to be or not to be' is the question.
