Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth police officers say the most common offense in the East Hillside neighborhood is property crime.

They're doing something about that with a pilot project aimed at lowering burglary numbers.

Officers are handing out pamphlets to neighbors with tips on how to keep homes safe from burglars.

Police say the focus of the program is to teach people about the prevention of crime.
