Duluth Police nab three in latest heroin bust, 65 grams seized

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth Police seized 65 grams of heroin, along with $6,100 in cash from an apartment on east 18th and 2nd street on Wednesday.

Jerrell Benjamin Rodgers, 21, Akeem Maurice Asad, 22, and Ike Gold Hardy, 28, all from Chicago were arrested and charged with 1st degree sale of a controlled substance and 1st degree conspiracy to commit controlled substance crime. Hardy posted bail on separate charges and was released.

Hardy is now wanted for an outstanding felony warrant related to this incident. The other two men remain behind bars.

Police made the bust following an investigation by the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force.
