Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Radisson Hotel officials confirm the property is for sale and has been listed since January.
According to our partners at the Duluth News Tribune, local industry leaders say the hotel's asking price is $9.5M.
The Duluth hotel's general manager, Jeff Briner, says a decline in business lead to the listing of the 288 room hotel.
Briner says there is neither a concern of foreclosure or bankruptcy on the property nor any concern for job loss for its more than 70 employees.
He also says the sale does not have a connection to the lower level water main break on March 13th that flooded a portion of the hotel.
Hotel officials had been hoping to re–open the Radisson to guests on May 1st, however it has been delayed to May 15th due to a setback with construction materials.
New York based Trinity Hotel Investors, LLC owns the property.
Attempts to reach them for comment have not been successful.
