Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Duluth City Council is planning to move forward on making the skywalk system greener and cleaner.
Tonight, the council plans to approve an agreement between the Duluth Transit Authority and the Minnesota Department of Transportation in regard to reconstruction of the northwest passage of the skywalk.
The revamping is part of Duluth's multi–million dollar multi–modal transportation project.
According to Councilor Jennifer Julsrud, the plans include making the skywalk greener and more artful, while incorporating a bike lane and more pedestrian–friendly options.
