Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - 51 year-old David Charles Workman of Duluth has pleaded guilty to charges of Possession of Child Pornography by a Predatory Offender and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Authorities seized Workman's computer and cell phone after investigators were tipped off that Workman had pornographic images in his possession and was accessing pornography at the Duluth Public Library.

The Duluth Police Department attempted to arrest Workman at his home, but found Workman had fled the state.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension contacted the US Marshal's office which then located and arrested Workman in Kentucky.

Workman has two prior convictions from 1981 and 1985 for the sexual assault of a child in Colorado.

Workman is currently in the St. Louis County Jail.
