Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A music program at Duluth's Teatro Zuccone is helping parents introduce their children to culturally diverse music.

The Family Concert Series, hosted by Zeitgeist Arts and the Zeppa foundation consists of several family–friendly shows designed to inspire a passion for the performing arts in young children.

Sunday's show featured members of the Duluth–Superior Symphony Orchestra, and the Church of Restoration Praise Team.

After the show several local musicians and performance artists were on scene to help the newly inspired kids learn more about music and art.

"For us it's just about inspiring kids in the arts, giving kids a place where they can experience local artists and local art," said community organizer Ryan Bauers, "and really just kind of get a passion for music and the arts early in life."

All of the proceeds from the event go to support arts and music in the Duluth School District.
