Duluth man charged after breaking into Duluth home

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- A Duluth man has been charged after breaking in and burglarizing a Duluth home and allegedly assaulting the tenant.

27-year-old, Tommy Ray Morgan is charged with first degree burglary, robbery, and first degree assault after allegedly breaking into a home on the 2600 block of West Fourth Street earlier this month.

Police say he assaulted a woman at the home after demanding money and jewelry.

They say he then stole the woman's cell phone and ran off with purses and a box of jewelry.
