Duluth man charged in connection with Subway armed robbery

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A Duluth man has been charged with assault and terroristic threats in connection with an armed robbery at a Subway on Monday.

36 year old Eric Jason Dahlberg is accused of entering the store just after 9 pm and allegedly walked behind the employee counter brandishing a knife.

The employee left the store to call 911 while the suspect was still inside. The suspect then fled the scene and was last seen running eastbound on First Street.

An investigation eventually lead police officers to a residence in the number 10 block of North 25th Avenue West where the suspect was arrested without incident and transported to the county jail.

Dahlberg has been charged with Felony 2nd Degree Assault and Terroristic Threats.

Dahlberg's past convictions include Criminal Sexual Conduct, assault, forgery and shoplifting.
