Duluth woman sentenced for role in hillside murder

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Duluth woman will spend the next 10 years in prison in connection to the stabbing death of a landlord.

Thirty-two-year-old, Joella Lee Tucker was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in prison for being an accomplice to the stabbing death of 54-year-old Kevin John Tyman in December 2012.

Tyman died from a single stab wound that lacerated his liver.

Last week, Tucker's partner in crime, 42-year-old Raymond Charles Weeks of Two Harbors was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the murder.

Tucker was given credit for 236 days already served.
