Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The Saint Louis County Law Library now has a new home.

It is now on the ground floor of the Saint Louis County Court House in Duluth. The Library used to be on the fifth floor.

The Library will also have an attorney on hand Monday through Friday to help people with legal questions.

The space is named after Alan Mitchell who served as Saint Louis County Attorney for 28 years.

"Probably more important to me because it's showing more of a respect for the people I worked with for all those years and understanding the efforts that were made on behalf of the people of St. Louis County and I think it's a recognition of that. That's a true honor," said Mitchell.

The free resource for the community dates back 125 years.

The Saint Louis County Law Library system also has branches in Virginia and Hibbing.
