Superior, WI (NNCNOW.COM) --- A garage and a vehicle are considered a total loss following a fire Monday morning in Superior.

Firefighters responded to a call around 4 am of a structure fire on the 2200 block of Banks Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found a garage and a vehicle parked next to it, fully engulfed in flames.

The first crews on scene were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

The lone occupant of the house, an adult male, was evacuated safely.

The fire appears to have started in the car and does not appear to be suspicious in nature. An investigation is underway and more details are expected to be released later this morning.
