Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Kids across the Northland are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Easter Bunny and his basket of goodies Sunday. But he came a little early Saturday with a different kind of treat.
It was the 2nd annual "Easter Bunny Breakfast" Saturday at the Depot in Duluth.
The Easter Bunny hopped on down to great guests while they enjoyed a full breakfast of cinnamon french toast, country sausage and milk in the Depot's Great Hall.
At track level in the Museum kids could enjoy egg decorating, basket making, and children's games.
Event organizers say this is a great way to introduce kids to the train museum.
"They can come down to an event like this, have a nice breakfast in the Great Hall and then come downstairs and play in the bouncy house," said Lake Superior Railroad Museum director Ken Buehler, "but they also get to see what a wonderful railroad museum we have in Duluth Minnesota, and maybe they'll come back!"
All the food served for the breakfast was donated by local businesses.
