Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Eight people, including an infant that is just four days old, need your help after their belongings were destroyed by fire on Christmas Eve.
They were living at the Royal Pines Motel in Carlton when flames broke out, forcing them to flee to safety.
Now they have been forced to find temporary housing at the Golden Gate Motel in Scanlon...where a collection has been set up to help the fire victims.
"They didn't have no money. Their money burned in the motel, their belongings burned, everything. We brought them in and told them we are not talking about money right now, nobody is discussing it. We are just giving them a place to go and we'll discuss the rest later," Julie Hall, Golden Gate Motel Manager, said.
Above all, Hall says the fire victims need food and baby formula, but they also need daily living supplies such as clothing and toiletries.
Baby blankets and a crib have already been gifted to the family.
All donated items can be dropped off at the Golden Gate Motel main office.
