Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Rain or shine, 75th Anniversary celebrations of Enger Park, in Duluth, are still scheduled throughout the day Sunday.

City spokespeople say Duluth is highlighting the anniversary with a free, public event from 10 to 5 PM Sunday.

Food trucks will be on–site at Enger Park, along with various activities, including yoga and a visit from Mayor Don Ness planned for the day.

Tours of the Japanese Peace Garden are set hourly from two to four.

The original dedication of Enger Tower was held on the same day in 1939, and honored successful Duluth businessman, and Norway native, Bert Enger.

This year marks his 150th birthday.
