Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- 125 years ago, the first patients of St. Mary's hospital were treated in Duluth.
Now in 2013, Essentia Health-St. Mary's is celebrating this milestone as one of Minnesota's premiere medical institutions.
Employees were treated with a cupcake tower and some rest and relaxation at the hospital's first-floor lobby.
There are close to 13,000 employees including 1,500 physicians working in the Essentia Health system in four states.
