Event and Organization closings for Wednesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 17

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- It looks like the system will be slowing down and dropping more snow. Upped snow totals for the Ports, northern Wisconsin and east-central MN to 6-12", higher amounts for Hayward, Butternut, Spooner, Hinckley – 10-15".

Event/organization closings for Wednesday, April 16:
-Park Point Small Area Plan and Planning Commission Meeting cancelled. It has been rescheduled for 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.
-Special Planning Commission meeting cancelled. It has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.
-Wednesday's Minnesota Twins game against Blue Jays has been postponed. It is rescheduled for Thursday evening.
-Hawthorne Assembly of God Church night events cancelled on Wednesday, April 30.
-First United Methodist Church (Coppertop) in Duluth night events cancelled on Wednesday, April 30.
-Cloquet School District Evening Activities Cancelled
-City Planning and the Creative Urban Economy (UMD Alworth Institute) 7:00 at the Teatro Zuccone
-Cloquet School District Evening Activities
-Tonight's 911 Citizens Academy, offered by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, is canceled. The event will be rescheduled, but a new date has not been set.
-Open skating at Duluth Heritage Center cancelled.

Event/organization closings for Thursday, April 17:
-“Lunch with the History People” presentation by Gina Temple-Rhodes has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for Sept. 18, 2014.
