Family, Friends say Goodbye to Mitch Lingren

-- The second victim of a recent fatal car crash near Cromwell was laid to rest Friday.

Mitchell Lingren is remembered as an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time fishing with his children.

Hundreds gathered in Cloquet to remember Mitch as a loving father and husband that was taken too soon. Friends and family shared their stories of him at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Mitch's family, overcome with grief says while the loss is great, his memory will live on through his children.

"I laugh when I look in his sons eyes because he has a sparkle, a smile just like his dad. Mitch was a guy that very much loved this community, very much a part of this community," said Mitch's Uncle Karl Kambromne.

Mitch Lingren was 29-years-old. He leaves behind two children and his wife Angie.

Mitch, and his co-worker and friend Zachary Gamache were killed in a car crash Monday.
