International Falls, MN (NNCNOW.com) - According to Boise spokespeople, paper mill officials have started talks to determine who, specifically, will be laid off this fall.

At the beginning of May, Boise announced it will be closing two of the mill's four paper machines and laying off nearly 300 people as soon as October 1st.

In all, eight unions, including the United Steelworkers Local 159, represent the employees who face the possibility of losing their jobs.
