Duluth, Minn. (NNCNOW.com) -- The first ever Ice Fishing expo will be held at the DECC this weekend.

Venders have been busy all day setting up ice shacks, snowmobiles, and ice fishing gear in three halls of the convention center.

Expo organizers say there are about 100 vendors at the convention.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to go fishing for some prizes.

"Consumers can come down and fish for free, the fish will be tagged, you can win prizes and certificates to be redeemed at the show," said Show Manager, Chris Navratil.

The show kicks off Friday, noon to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 7pm and again Sunday 9am to 5pm.
