Delays and cancellations to and from Duluth International Airport, are keeping Northlanders away from their homes.

Both the Minneapolis– St. Paul and Chicago O'Hare airports have each cancelled one of their flights to Duluth, and there have been several delays.

A Duluth departure to Minneapolis and one to Chicago have also been cancelled.

Marlon Bailey, Owner of Airport Taxi has spent the past few hours rushing to wait.

"It's a lot of sitting around wondering what's going to be cancelled and what isn't. Then people get stranded at the airport when they find out their flights are cancelled and they need to get back home..."

Cab rides may become a hot commodity as the storm rages on.
Bailey says bigger companies tend to take their vehicles off the road after three to four inches of snow has accumulated.

Delta's last evening flight from Minneapolis to Duluth has been delayed.
