Former MN Supreme Court Justice Dead at 88

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The first woman appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court has died at the of 88.

Justice Roasalie Wahl was appointed in 1977 by then Governor Rudy Perpich to sit on the bench.

During her 17 years of service she led efforts to address both gender fairness and racial bias in Minnesota's justice system.

Wahl retired in 1994.
