Former Northland Meteorologist Hopes to Live Final Days at Home
Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Former Northland TV meteorologist Chris Snider has been battling bone cancer and unfortunately, is losing that fight. Snider began his career at KBJR-TV as a weather intern and fill-in meteorologist before becoming Chief Meteorologist at Fox 21. He left broadcasting in 2011 to do missionary work. Snider wants to come home to live out his final days in hospice care at his sister's home in Floodwood. His friends are now trying to raise money to transport him from Mississippi to Floodwood. Donations can be sent to the Chris Snider Benefit Account at US Bank in Duluth. Snider is expected home on Tuesday. Written for the web by Jennifer Austin.
