Duluth, MN (NNCNOW) - Life House hosted its third annual Hors D'Oeuvres that Open Doors event at the Greysolon Plaza, Tuesday.

The organization provides food, shelter, and other services, like basic health care to at risk and homeless youth in the Twin Ports.

According to Life House Director Jeff Woolverton, it's events like this that open the door for community action.

"We are raising awareness that there are homeless kids in Duluth, and they need help. We're trying to find out ways that we can provide our community [a chance] to get involved, and really find out solutions," said Woolverton.

All proceeds from tonight's event are going toward Life House's "Adopt a Kid" program.
