DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Funeral arrangements have been made for the 40-year-old Duluth man who was electrocuted Friday while moving a ladder.
Willie Kruger's visitation is Saturday from 11 am to noon with the funeral to follow at Vineyard Church on Arrowhead Road in Duluth.
The family has set up a bank account for donations to help the family pay for funeral costs as well as a Facebook page in his memory.
Willie's brother, Daryl Kruger, who was also shocked when the ladder hit a power line, says Willie's smile will be remembered.
Daryl claims Willie saved his life by moving the ladder off the power line while shocked.
"It wouldn't have mattered if it would have been three other people that were on that ladder, if he would've been walking by he would have, he would have thrown the ladder off, knowing what's going on. That's the kind of person he was," said Daryl.
There is an account called the Willie Kruger Fund at the Park State Bank branch on West Superior Street. Those wanting to give can stop by there
The family is also planning a silent auction at Horseshoe Bar on November 21st.
The family has expressed thanks to everyone who has helped and supported them during this time. They also want to tell people the silent auction and Willie Kruger Fund at the bank are the only fundraisers set-up by them - anything else is fraud.
