Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Minneapolis investment banker, and now GOP backed candidate for Minnesota's U.S. Senate seat, Mike McFadden, is kicking off his campaign trail with visits to the Northland scheduled.
McFadden is vying for the Senate seat currently claimed by Democratic U.S. Senator Al Franken, who also received his party's endorsement over the weekend.
McFadden is scheduled to be in Duluth, at the Duluth International Airport, around 11 Monday morning. He'll then head to the Iron Range, with a stop at the Eveleth–Virginia Regional Airport.
The state GOP's pick for U.S. Senate, who's already heavily supported financially, says his experience in the private sector would provide a clear contrast with Franken.
