Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - It's every little girls dream to grow up and become a princess, but why wait?

Essentia health has helped 250 young ladies, moms and girls of all ages live a childhood dream with their fifth annual Fairy Princess Ball at Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth Sunday

Not only do the girls get to enjoy dancing with guest princesses in their fairy–finest, but the money raised goes to benefit the Erick Peter Person Children's Cancer Center Fund.

At the end of the day, it's all about helping young girls realize a dream, if only for a day.

"It's an opportunity to get dressed up and to become someone that you don't get to be every day," said Director of Annual Giving & Special Events Charity Rupp, "so, princess is every little girls dream. So what a perfect way to celebrate an afternoon with your mom."

Cards made by the little princesses will be going to child–patients being treated for Cancer in Duluth.
