Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- If there was ever a time to donate to a Minnesota charity, today is the day.
The annual "Give to the Max Day" is going on right now across Minnesota.
From midnight to 11:59 p.m. on November 15, every donation you make gives your favorite nonprofit or school the chance to win even more money.
For instance, a $12,500, $5,000 and $2,500 prize grant will be awarded to the top three nonprofit organizations which receive the most dollars during Give to the Max Day.
Cash prizes will also be given to medium and small non-profit organizations who rack up the most donations.
So how can you help your favorite school or non-profit?
You can log onto GiveMN's website and click on the organization you want to give to.
There are over 3,000 organizations across the state that you can give to including non-profits and schools right here in the Northland such as the North American Bear Center, the United Way of Greater Duluth, the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and many more.
